Overview
The Sunstone CD Dual-Pulse Remote Start (RS) Series expands on the proven performance of Sunstone’s standard CD welders by adding remote triggering capability, allowing hands-free welding through a foot pedal, hand switch, or external control signal such as a PLC or automated sequence.
By eliminating the need for a front-panel weld button, RS models are ideal for integrated workstations, ergonomic production setups, and semi-automated cells. The same dual-pulse capacitive discharge system is retained—ensuring clean, consistent, and repeatable welds across thin to moderately thick conductive materials.
This series is especially well suited for environments transitioning from lab-scale welding to controlled production, where precision, repeatability, and operator efficiency are critical.
