📘 Overview
The Sunstone CD RS Series builds on the foundation of the standard CD Dual-Pulse welders by adding Remote Start capability, enabling hands-free welding via foot pedal, hand trigger, or external signal (e.g., PLCs or robotic systems).
While maintaining the same dual-pulse discharge system for weld quality and consistency, the RS models eliminate the need for onboard manual triggering—making them ideal for integrated workstations, automation cells, and controlled production environments.
This series is perfect for users who need precision spot welding without being tied to a manual control panel, allowing faster throughput and ergonomic operation.
⚙️ Shared Features Across RS Models
-
Remote Start Input: Trigger welding from a foot pedal, switch, or automation system
-
Dual-Pulse Operation: Pre-weld pulse for surface conditioning, followed by full weld pulse
-
Compact, Durable Design: Same rugged chassis and dimensions as standard models
-
Digital Display & Rotary Controls: User-friendly interface for energy control
-
Power Input Flexibility: 110/220 VAC auto-switching internal power supply
-
Thermal Protection & Feedback: Audible and visual system readiness indicators
