The Sunstone CD Dual-Pulse Standard Series delivers professional-grade resistance spot welding using a dual-pulse capacitive discharge system designed to improve weld cleanliness, consistency, and bond strength on thin to moderately thick conductive materials.
Each weld is performed using two precisely controlled energy pulses:

A conditioning pulse that cleans oxides and surface contamination

A primary weld pulse that delivers the full welding energy for a strong, repeatable bond
This approach produces cleaner welds with reduced spatter and improved repeatability—especially important for battery tabs, foils, fine wires, and precision components.
With a compact benchtop footprint, rugged construction, and a straightforward manual interface, the CD Dual-Pulse Series is ideal for labs, prototyping environments, R&D, and light production where automation is not required.
