Designed to support larger 2.25hp routers with a 3.5” barrel diameter (Makita or similar brands), the Shark HD500 Plus is an enhanced version of the popular HD500 CNC. In addition to all the standard features of the HD500, the Plus model includes Next Wave CNC's latest technological advancements, such as the 10.1" Android-based Touch Screen Display and a 2hp Water-Cooled Spindle.
The Touch Screen Display offers features like:

The Shark HD500 Plus features a 16” x 36” table and an extruded aluminum router mount, compatible with 3.5” barrel routers or Next Wave’s water-cooled spindle system. It also has robust linear gantry rails for added strength. The system can be controlled via pendant or computer and is ideal for carving plaques, signs, ornamental boxes, and precision parts made from wood, soft metals, or plastics.
This CNC router also offers 3D carving capabilities, complete with a 3D model library. It provides two control options:

Pendant Control: Use the included Vectric VCarve Desktop Design Software to create your design, then transfer it to a USB drive and plug it into the LCD pendant. The convenient touch screen interface allows you to operate the CNC without a computer.

Computer Control: Use the Ready2Control software with the exclusive patented Virtual Zero Unlimited technology, which adjusts your design to fit curves and angles not possible with other machines. (Computer and flash drive not included.)
The Shark HD500 Plus is also compatible with Next Wave's 2-Watt and 7-Watt Lasers.
